Who this is from
Cyber Media Design designs and builds websites for small businesses in Ireland.
For anything in this notice, email patrick@cybermediadesign.ie.
The information we hold, and why
If you use the contact form. We receive your name, email address, business name, phone number if you give one, and whatever you write in the message. We use it only to reply to you and to discuss the work you asked about. The lawful basis is that you asked us to take steps before entering a contract with you.
If we contacted you first. We find businesses through public listings such as Google Maps, and we look for businesses that appear not to have a website so we can offer to build one. In that case we hold what the listing shows publicly: the business name, its category and area, a phone number or address where the listing shows one, and whether a website was listed. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in offering a relevant service to a business.
You can stop this at any time. Reply to any email from us, or write to patrick@cybermediadesign.ie, and we will delete what we hold and never contact you again. You do not have to give a reason.
Who else sees it
- Resend delivers our email. Contact form messages pass through it, hosted in the EU (Ireland region).
- Cloudflare hosts this website, serves its pages, and provides the analytics described below.
That is the whole list. We do not sell information, we do not share it with advertising networks, and we do not use it for anything other than the purposes above.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device and does not follow you to other websites. It tells us how many people visited a page, roughly where in the world they were and which site sent them — never who you are.
Because none of that identifies you, there is nothing here for you to consent to, and no cookie banner to click away.
How long we keep it
Twenty-four months from our last contact with you, after which it is deleted. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to us using it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email patrick@cybermediadesign.ie and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, 6 Pembroke Row, Dublin 2, D02 X963 — dataprotection.ie.
